Introduction
Safety Devices has proudly sponsored Militrex and Project Mobility to support the 14th Tuareg Rallye in Morocco, commencing on 18th March 2012.
Details
A team of British Army soldiers impressively fitted a Safety Devices roll cage to a Land Rover Defender 130 in just six hours, in preparation for a challenging 2,230km drive across the Moroccan desert. The journey will begin in Nador Missor and conclude in Mojacar, Spain, on 26th March 2012. Led by principal driver and serving soldier Trevor McGill, the team will be supporting the Bowler Offroad team throughout the event.
Militrex and Project Mobility provide practical help and support by converting 4×4 vehicles so they can be driven by amputees or those with disabilities affecting driving. They also offer wounded ex-servicemen the opportunity to enjoy adventure and new challenges through off-road safari experiences.
