Are you transferring your Motorsport bolt-in roll cage from one car to another? If so, then you will need a fitting kit to allow you to install the cage into the new shell.

Kit Contents:

– All weld-in/sandwich plates required to mount cage onto
– All nuts, bolts and washers to assemble and install cage

Important Ordering Details:

Please make sure you select the correct type of fitting kit required:

  • Front fitting kit for replacing a front roll cage only
  • Rear fitting kit for replacing a rear roll cage only
  • Full fitting kit if replacing a full roll cage

To ensure we send you the correct fitting kit, you must supply us with the ID number of the cage – this can be found stamped into the footplate on either the front leg or on the main hoop. On homologated cages it will also appear on the homologation sticker. It will be a single letter followed by 1 or more numbers. See the resources tab in the left menu for further assistance.

Please note that fitting kits are made to order. During busy periods, they can have a manufacturing lead time of up to 4-6 weeks from the point of order. If your order is urgent, please contact us prior to ordering to check current manufacturing lead times.

Standard Shipping:
Most items are shipped free within mainland UK, though certain remote regions may fall outside the standard rate. Any supplementary charges will be communicated after the order is received, and consignments of exceptional size or weight may incur an additional fee.
International Shipping:
All products are shipped under FCA Incoterms. Title and risk transfer to the buyer once the goods are delivered to the nominated carrier. The buyer is also liable for all import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country. If your shipping location does not appear or is unavailable at checkout, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quotation.
Returns & Refunds:
Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Faulty or damaged goods are eligible for a full refund, with collection arranged by us. For items purchased in error or where the purchaser has changed their mind, refunds will be issued for the item cost excluding shipping, and a restocking fee may be applied.

Who are Safety Devices?

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.

Yes, we do offer on-site roll cage installations, however these are dependent on our workshop availability. For a quotation, please contact our sales team who can assist your further.
