Safety Devices are well on the way to completing the successful installation of more than 100 Roll Over Protection Systems (ROPS) onto a project fleet of vehicles in Papua New Guinea.

The installation work has been undertaken by MONDIALE Group, leaders in remote site engineering solutions, in one of the remotest locations Safety Devices has supplied.
MONDIALE Group has introduced an apprenticeship programme in Papua New Guinea, providing employment and Safety Devices installation training to PNG nationals for this important project.
The Roll Over Protection Systems were installed across a fleet of Toyota HZJ76, HZJ78 and HZJ79 vehicles, with some of them being modified for bespoke Oil & Gas equipment. The vehicles operate on some of Papua New Guinea’s most challenging roads. The decision to install Safety Devices ROPS is a clear demonstration of the duty of care that the fleet owners take with their staff in PNG.
