Prototyping

We offer a range of prototyping and pre-production services to ensure successful design concepts and manufacturing processes.
We provide solutions for some of the world’s largest companies

Prototype Development Service

Our prototype development service offers the chance to gain valuable insight and confidence in products, prior to design sign-off and investment in production tooling. This process allows our clients to test ideas, gather detailed analysis, evaluate fit, form and function and make necessary adjustments to refine the final product to the highest standards.
Alongside our prototyping we offer a low volume pre-production service which boasts the ability to create static and working components, mitigating potentially significant non-recurring expenditures (NRE).

Do you have any technical drawings or data of the roll cage I want?

You can find detailed images and assembly drawings available on many of our product listings. If you require any additional information, please contact our sales team who may be able to assist you further.

Who can I contact for technical advice on your products?

If you require technical support with any of our products, please contact our sales team who will be able to assist you further.

Can I install my own roll cage?

All of our roll cages come with detailed fitting instructions, however this is a very complicated process that involves specific vehicle modifications including welding, cutting and drilling. Therefore we recommend that all cages are installed by professional or experienced personnel.
Some of our roll cages also require Safety Devices approval or installation in order to achieve homologation status. Therefore we recommend checking the roll cage product listings and our roll cage disclaimers for further details prior to purchase.

Are your ROPS built to certain standards?

We offer two tiers of standard ROPS for 4×4 vehicles.
Our Heavy Duty option represents the highest specification, providing impressive strength (minimum gross vehicle weight -7.5x vertically, 5.5x longitudinally and 1.5x laterally). It is a higher grade for use in oil and gas exploration, meeting international standards.
In contrast, our Safety Devices General Purpose ROPS are designed with slightly reduced strength specifications and components, yet remain suitable for a wide range of applications.

What type of padding should I use for 4×4 and off roading?

We recommend that all internal components of the roll cage be covered with padding, with particular emphasis on protecting high-impact areas, such as those above the shoulders and around the head.
