Metrology & Inspection

Using advanced techniques to capture precise data, enabling detailed analysis between CAD (computer-aided design) and finished product.
We provide solutions for some of the world’s largest companies

CMM Inspection

Our coordinate measuring machines (CMM), such as our FARO Arm, allow us to measure and inspect products to single point accuracy of less than 100μm, and volumetric accuracy within 125μm. This in-house resource at both our development and production facilities enables us to effectively reverse engineer products, provide high quality dimensional reporting, run overlay assisted inspections, as well as confirm tool and fixture alignment.

Laser Scanning

Our portable laser scanner has the ability to capture data to an accuracy of 40μm, whether used in our development workshop, elsewhere in the UK or at customer sites worldwide. Our knowledge and experience of complex scanning ensures we are able to effectively capture, process, filter and extrapolate key data to be used for design or verification purposes.

Who can I contact for technical advice on your products?

If you require technical support with any of our products, please contact our sales team who will be able to assist you further.

Can I install my own roll cage?

All of our roll cages come with detailed fitting instructions, however this is a very complicated process that involves specific vehicle modifications including welding, cutting and drilling. Therefore we recommend that all cages are installed by professional or experienced personnel.
Some of our roll cages also require Safety Devices approval or installation in order to achieve homologation status. Therefore we recommend checking the roll cage product listings and our roll cage disclaimers for further details prior to purchase.

Can I move my roll cage from one car to another?

As long as the roll cage is undamaged, our bolt-in roll cages can be transferred to another vehicle of the same model and specification. To facilitate this transition, new floor plates will be needed to replace those welded to the original shell, and we strongly recommend replacing the nuts, bolts, and washers for optimum safety. You can conveniently purchase fitting kits through our Spares and Accessories shop. However, please note that our weld-in roll cages are not transferable once installed in a vehicle.
