If you have a Safety Devices Roll Cage, why not have a Safety Devices Harness to go with it?

All harnesses used in MSA events must be FIA homologated. Harnesses are clearly identified by an FIA homologation which is sewn into the webbing near the quick release buckle. All parts of the harness must have a valid FIA homologation label and be identified as being part of the same set.

All FIA homologation labels state an expiry date after which the harness is no longer FIA homologated and will be refused if presented for scrutineering.

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
