Description

Manufactured from fire resistant high-density polyurethane material, this cost-effective, highly durable padding is ideal for Clubman use and comes with embossed Safety Devices logo.

Moulded to fit 32-45mm diameter tube, it is 9mm thick and comes in 930mm black lengths divided into four sections for easy cutting to size. 580g per full length. Attachment to the roll cage structure can be with either adhesive or tiewraps as appropriate.

This type of padding is mainly used on top of door bars to protect the legs of the driver/co-driver where there may be light impacts.

The padding is designed to be fixed into position using cable ties along its length, in the grooves provided.

Who are Safety Devices?

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
