Part Number: RBN090DB Universal Dash Bar

If you have a historic Safety Devices cage, this universal dash bar is ideal for adding some extra protection to the front legs of your cage. Designed to fit onto 38mm (1.5″) tubing, it can be installed with no welding required.

The bar is supplied at 1200mm in length and will require trimming to fit your particular vehicle. The brackets are then wrapped around the end of the tube and cross-bolted into position.

Kit Contents:

– 1 x Dash bar
– 2 x Wrap around brackets
– 1 x Fitting kit containing all required nuts, bolts and washers.
– Fitting instructions

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
