Description:

Roof access ladder that can be fitted to either side of the vehicle. It can be installed standalone or in conjunction with our Roof Rack Assembly (L300). Made of a folding construction with dual securing methods and a key locking mechanism. Requires drilling of the trim panels below the rear window to allow installation into the existing LR body mounts beneath. When deployed, the height from the floor to the lowest step of the ladder is 585mm at normal ride height (660mm at max and 550mm at min).

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
