Product Description:

Roof rack assembly complete with wind deflector bib. Requires the installation of LR roof rails (VPLER0177) to allow fitment. No modification to the vehicle is required and the rack does not obscure the rear-view camera. Top of rack is 125mm above roof skin, measured directly behind the rear-view camera. Provides clearance for the panoramic sunroof to both tilt and open fully. The roof rack is compatible with the Access Ladder (L302) and Accessory Rack (L306).

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
