Part Number: EAL293

Defender DCPU Lift-up Spare Wheel Carrier. Rear load bed spare wheel carrier featuring lift-up operation powered by gas rams either side, capable of supporting a 35” tyre. Also features an adjustable length wheel centre to suit different tyres and wheel offsets. Mounts to roll cage with aluminium clamps (included) and the rear floor of the vehicle.
Please note that this is only for mounting with Safety Devices RBL1857SSS and RBL2437SSS roll cages

Who are Safety Devices?

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
