Description:

6 point bolt-in cage. Front cage mounts to sills. Front cage has single roof diagonal or roof cross. Trim and body work modifications required. Not a DIY fit. Rear cage replaces original roll hoop. Rear cage has cross diagonal and harness bar. Existing seat belt arrangement can be retained.

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
