Description:

Harness bar mount including Petty bar (K Series and Toyota engines). This harness mount is intended for the mounting of shoulder straps when full harness belts are used. Because of its construction, some additional stiffness will be added to the original Lotus Vauxhall component to which it is mounted. Petty bar clamps to roll bar and passenger’s side floor. Provided with silver powder coat finish as standard.

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
