Part Number: DACS001

For mounting accessories such as a roof rack, snorkel or aerial to your roll cage. Suitable for any Safety Devices Expedition external roll cage, as well as any other roll cage which uses 44.45mm diameter tubing. The upper mounting hole is M8 threaded.

Kit Contents:

– Anodized clamp (upper and lower sections)
– Protective rubbers (protects roll cage finish)
– M8 stainless bolts and washers

These clamps are manufactured exclusively by Safety Devices and only available directly.

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
