Description:

Aero Bars are attractive, high quality roll bars for ‘drop head’ or ‘soft top’ cars. They are made by joining two splayed roll hoops at the top to form and ‘A’. The splayed legs are then braced to produce a very sturdy frame. The bar is then hand upholstered in fine leather cloth (leatherette). Aero Bars are simple to fit, with all the fittings, nuts and bolts provided. Aero bars can be seen on many classic open top cars throughout the world, offering safety with style.

What do I need to consider before installing a roll cage?

Selecting the right roll cage for your needs is crucial. Safety Devices roll cages are expertly designed to provide maximum occupant protection while minimizing intrusion into the cabin.
It’s important to consider the trade-off between the car’s functionality and the level of rollover protection offered. A roll cage should not interfere with the operation of existing safety systems, such as curtain airbags. These must be disengaged to prevent unintended deployment.
Remember, ‘show cages’ are not true roll cages. A ‘dash dodger’ with a reverse bend (‘S’ shape) in the front leg won’t offer adequate protection for the A-pillar.
For competition use, ensure the roll cage complies with the regulations set by event organisers or governing bodies, such as Motorsport UK.
